This is a very rare Louis Vuitton bag which may be used as a clutch or shoulder bag by removing the detachable 1/2" wide leather strap.
The front of this bag is designed with a unique gold metal tuck in flap closure. You'll find a hidden Eclair zipper underneath the flap, below the main compartment which is lined in leather used in the 1970's. The Louis Vuitton trademark is stamped on top of the interior flap and no date code since this bag was manufactured prior to the 1980's.
Condition is gently used and in good condition. The exterior canvas shows very light use with no abuse or missing stitches to the corners. The genuine leather trim shows signs of age but remains in good condition with stitching in tact. Interior is clean with no obvious stains or marks other than normal age to the leather. You will find small canvas cracks on the monogram canvas at the interior corners (as shown in photos). Please note that due to age, the hardware has scratches and slight tarnishing and the detachable strap has missing stitch work throughout. Please view photos for visual defects.
Comes with dust bag but no tags.
